  • What will the NARCON T-shirts be like?
    These will be a 6.1oz, white, 100% cotton t-shirt.  The NARCON 2007 art will be screened on the front of the shirt in 4 colors.  Shirt prices vary slightly depending upon size - see the Merchandise Order Form for pricing.  Both adult and youth sizes will be available.  There will be extremely few, if any, extra NARCON 2007 T-Shirts printed, so all orders MUST be placed prior to February 12, 2007 to guarantee availability.  Additions or changes to your order may be made up until that time.  The t-shirt artwork is displayed below.  Back to Top
           


  • What will the NARCON sweatshirts be like?
    Since March is cold in Minnesota, we have decided to offer a NARCON sweatshirt in addition to the traditional t-shirts.  These will be a heavyweight sweatshirt.  The NARCON 2007 art will be screened on the front of the sweatshirt in 4 colors (same art as on the t-shirt -see above).  Sweatshirt prices vary slightly depending upon size - see the Merchandise Order Form for pricing.  There will be extremely few, if any, extra NARCON 2007 sweatshirts printed, so all orders MUST be placed prior to February 12, 2007 to guarantee availability.  Additions or changes to your order may be made up until that time.  Back to Top



  • You're having free door prize drawings instead of a raffle?
    Yes.  Running a legal raffle in Minnesota is a complicated mess of bureaucracy and paperwork.  The NARCON 2007 staff has decided to have drawings for free door prizes throughout NARCON instead of selling raffle tickets and having a raffle drawing.  Blank tickets for the door prize drawings will be included in each attendee's registration packet.  It will be up to each attendee to fill them in and place them in the marked receptacle at the registration desk.
    As tickets are drawn for door prizes, the list of winners will be posted at the Registration table.  If any drawn prizes are unclaimed at the end of the NAR Town Hall Meeting on Sunday, those prizes will be returned to the prize pool.  New names will then be drawn until all prizes are awarded.
    Prizes will not be held beyond the end of NARCON on Sunday afternoon.  Prizes will not be shipped by NARCON to the winners.  Once they have taken possession, all prizes become the sole responsibility of the winners.
    The NARCON 2007 staff welcomes donations of rocketry-related items for the door prize drawings! If you (vendor, company, individual, etc) are willing to donate something, please contact us! -   Back to Top



  • I need to mail in several different forms, but they have mail-to different addresses on them.  What should I do?
    We're sorry for the potential confusion.  The Attendee and Merchandise forms have one address on them, the Vendor form has a different address, and the Advertising form has yet a different one.  You don't need to send everything in separate envelopes with separate checks.  You can put everything in one envelope with one check and send it to the address on the Attendee form and we'll sort it out.  If you're sending in both Vendor and Advertising forms, please send them to the address on the Vendor form.  If you're not sure where to send multiple forms, please ask us.  -   Back to Top


  • How does the half-price registration work for Presenters?
    We offer half-price NARCON registration for those who volunteer to do a seminar/workshop/etc.  Please contact our Presentation Coordinator if you are interested!   If you mail in your registration, just pay half-price and please write "Presenter Discount" on the bottom of the form.  If you register and pay online, you will have to pay full price for registration.  Then, when you check in at NARCON, we will give you a $15 refund at that time.  If you have any questions, please ask us.  -   Back to Top


  • Can the general public enter the vendor room free of charge?
    Yes.  If a member of the general public ONLY wishes to enter the Vendor room to look around and possibly buy things, there is NO charge to them.  If they wish to attend any other part of NARCON, they will need to either register as a full Attendee, or purchase a limited day-pass.   -   Back to Top


  • Will there be NARCON "day passes"?
    Yes.   A limited one-day pass to NARCON will be available for purchase each day at the NARCON Registration Table.  Pricing will be $10 for adults (19 and older) and $5 for youths (18 and younger) per day.  The day pass will grant the purchaser admission to all NARCON events held on that day.  (Full NARCON on-site Attendee registration will also be available at the normal prices of $40 for adults and $15 for youths.)Those buying a day-pass will be given a unique name badge that is clearly marked only for the day that it is valid.   Those purchasing a day-pass will NOT receive a registration packet, program book, door prize drawing entries or a proceedings cd-rom.  The program book and cd-rom will be available for purchase separately.  Those wishing to receive the "full package" will need to register as full Attendees.   -   Back to Top


  • Parking?
    There is a parking ramp attached to the hotel.  It is on the north side of the hotel (W. Center St.)  (See the PDF below).  The entrance to the ramp is poorly marked with only a small sign that says "PARK".  Parking is generally $10 per day for hotel guests.  Parking in the hotel ramp is supposed to be complimentary for NARCON attendees staying at the hotel, but that is based on availability.  At this time, we cannot guarantee free parking in the hotel ramp.  There is a public parking ramp less than a block from the hotel.  Parking in the public ramps is free on weekends and after 5:30pm on weekdays. -   Back to Top
